CSCAN has chosen GE’s top of the line general and obstetric ultrasound machines - the Logiq and Voluson series to provide the best possible care to Novocastrians.
The Logiq series is designed for all general imaging but in particualr excels in musculoskeletal imaging and body imaging. It has volume navigation tools that allow GPS style body navigation whilst scanning which makes scanning difficult to reach areas much simpler.
The Logiq E9 also allows MRI and CT fusion during live ultrasound scanning, in effect taking the guesswork out of comparison and follow up cross modality imaging.
The Voluson series is GE’s premier obstetric scanning machine, allowing automated follicle tracking, high definition and 3D/4D foetal scanning.
It also has workflow efficiencies for the sonographer that mean less time is necessary to obtain routine images, allowing them to concentrate on the difficult to reach areas and thus improving diagnostic accuracy.
